Online Master’s Degree in Turfgrass Management launched by Penn State

Penn State has launched the Master of Professional Studies in Turfgrass Management which is first online master's degree in this field. Supervision of golf courses has become quite demanding over the years with advancement in technology and therefore professionals are required for successfully managing these facilities.
This degree is offered by the College of Agricultural Sciences online through Penn State's World Campus. It is a thirty credit master's degree program which is offered to professionals who have a better understanding of turfgrass and want to strengthen business and project management expertise. It is also aimed at people who would want to hone their management skills.
It gives students an opportunity to work full time and at the same time enables them to immediately apply their learning. The online master's degree comprises of two certificates in turfgrass management, bachelor of science in turfgrass science degree and associate in science in turfgrass management degree.
Currently Penn State is accepting applications for the online Master of Professional Studies in Turfgrass Management program.
