$20m Goes To Online Education From Bill Gates

Online education is getting noticed with the latest news from the Bill and Melina Gates Foundation last Monday. The announcement proclaimed that the foundation will now provide $20 million worth of grant programs to improve college graduation rates using technology. This means that the funding will go towards building better and more accessible online education programs for students of all ages.

This grant will be known as the Next-Generation Learning Challenges, where grants will be provided from $250,000 up to $750,000. Bill Gates who has made a major influence in technology is formally giving back $20 million dollars worth to encourage more students to be more active with technology.

The Bill and Melina Gates Foundation has made a new aim to expand the level of education from all ages. Starting from a focused program that will expand the K-12 programs in schools.
